is the most popular online communication service in the world with 663 million users as of September 2011. It is one of the first companies to create a huge impact on the Internet phone market. Founded by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis in 2003, the company was acquired by Microsoft Corp. in May 2011 for $8.5 billion in cash.

To save and transfer your conversation history: Press and hold the Windows key on your keyboard, then press R to bring up the Run window. Type %appdata%\Skype into the Run window and press OK. Navigate to the folder named after your Skype Name.
